How would you like to be part of a movie Acting or Producing? Snow Leopard Films is giving you the chance to do just that. As we start preproduction on a new feature film entitled, KARR POOL. It is a romantic comedy, pitting Elliot Karr, a new intern in the mailroom, who falls in love with Nancy Lane a very cute assistant on the fourth floor and want to ask her out on a date. Against Jimmy Wilson an up and coming sales trainee who loves flirting with Nancy. Elliot tries to earn enough money to trade in his old VW bus, for a new chick magnet sports car that he thinks will impress Nancy. Tyron, Elliot's mentor in the mailroom becomes the first one to sign up for Elliot's carpool enterprise, which acquires a very uncommon collection of people. His stash of cash from the carpool dwindles as he uses some secretly, to help his car pool friends out of some personal problems. Realizing the sports car will never materialize, Elliot gathers all the courage he can to invite Nancy out on a date. Jimmy tries to short circuit the date, but Elliot prevails and the date finally takes place and during it, Elliot realizes what is really important in life!
The contest offers you two ways of winning. First, if you are interested in acting, you can enter the contest to win an acting part in the movie. Or second, you can win an Associate Producers position with the movie. Either way these will be exciting was to become involved in movie making. Snow Leopard Films is proud to announce the release of a trailer to the short movie "The Encounter".
This romantic comedy has some unique twists and turns that make you want to watch it again. John Stevenson and Merriliz Monzon portray two people that plan a rendezvous in Paris and things seem to be going well, until as so many things in life, they turn for the worst. This short movie is a fun portrayal of how life really is. Too often we plan out and anticipate elaborate and unrealistic expectations. The plans usually never go the way we envision them and frequently they go drastically wrong.
